Reserves vs Oldham (Manchester Senior Cup)

Kick off 1pm, behind closed doors but live on MUTV. Any chance of seeing Pogba again or will he need to recover from his last night?

He'll be rested for Sunday is the best guess

Surprised Sam doesn't start in goal.

That's a very good line-up, isn't it?

7 defenders in the team and 2 on the bench. It will be tough for our new Swiss defender to get in it seems.

I always like games where you can hear the manager's instructions clearly.

Even the reserves lack that creative spark in midfield.

Could we see Petrucci involved with our Uefa Cup run? The Keane lads as well?

Not sure where he'll play at the moment.
He could do what Pogba did last night, ie, when we are ahead, he could be blooded in as the 3rd midfielder so there isnt too much pressure on him.

I'd love to see some of the younger lads blooded in the Uefa lollipop coca cola LDV Paint Trophy.

Alongside some experience of course.

Was that their coach shouting 'Just do the right thing'?! Has to be helpful.

I wonder if "doing the right thing" leads to a moral victory?

Paddy not too happy with the attacking play in the second half..
What can you expect when there are 8 defenders and a defensive midfielder on the pitch.
Only Petrucci is attack minded.. and Fabio.. who is a defender.

Asking for too much.. See the game out. Get the win.

Not sure why we are so defensive tho.
