Robert Brady

It would be great if someone with Eurosport would watch the European u17 championship match between ROI and Spain and give a nice little summary about Brady's performance. Seven o'clock CET. Are there any streams for this one?

It's on Eurosport....

Spain have equalised and are on top now.

Robert Brady is on bench and yet to feature.

Robert Brady came on as soon as Spain made it 2-1 and took the lead which was around the 50-55 minute mark. Having been deployed when Ireland were severely on the back foot, Brady saw little of the ball but fought bravely and ran up and down the left flank in an attempt to disrupt the Spanish defence and midfield. He went on a few runs, cutting in from the left onto his right foot - at times playing incisive balls which were eventually cleared due to lack of numbers and twice going for goal (both deflected away). He definitely added freshness and urgency to the Ireland side, very reminiscent of Rooney in how he battles off the ball but is direct and comfortable on it.

Not exactly his best of performances, but having seen him for the Academy and Reserves this season - he certainly has a lot of raw potential.
