Nice finish by Lawrence there, with that early goal could be a big score in Uniteds favour.

I think Paddy Crerand let it out on commentary once that he's a special one Januzaj.

Good half, pretty sure we're in the next round, Torquay's strikers don't have too much to do.

Januzaj and Lawrence (he was very unlucky with the ref, wasn't he?) our best players tonight.

The kids play some nice football but really lack cutting edge IMO. Having said that, some very exciting players in there. Especially like Blackett, Januzaj and Daehli.

Well yeah, but then again they didn't have a recognized striker on the pitch until Byrne came on.

I thought that was as good a display as you're going to get in the youth cup. Controlled possession, bossed the midfield, solid at the back and scored some lovely goals.

Players who were particularly impressive tonight: Januzaj, Barmby, Love(when he came on).

I admire McCullough as well, but he didn't really have to much to do tonight.

Van Velzen looks quite average up front, hope he's back on the wing now.

I don't think we should expect anything from the lads in this year's FA Youth Cup, but it's good to see them playing some nice football at times, I think we will be much better in this competition next season, our team is very young.

If you have missed the game, it's on MUTV again at 8.30am on Sunday, 30-minutes highlights are at 4.30pm.

MUTV stream is still on my homepage, I think it should be ok on Sunday as well.

Thanks for the stream Maciek, it's not often I get the opportunity to catch our academy lads in action. Enjoyed it, first time I've seen some of the players.

It's not often I find the time, I'm usually watching every United first team game - the missus thinks I'm crazy during the weekends, in which I watch the PL all day long.

Make sure you have two hours only for you on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings and you'll be able to watch majority of youth, reserve and first team match.

People always seem to mention Januzaj, Dæhli and god knows who - but Lawrence and Barmby are in a league of their own at this level! All the others are highly talented footballers - but those 2 are involved in practically everything we create - and unlike the other players in the team, they can finish!

Rudge and Van Velzen look good to me too. The thing that sticks out the most to me from tonights game apart from the goals is a moment in the first half where we were on the counter and VV took the ball forward and knocked a lovely long-range pass across to Barmby. Shot was saved in the end, that would've been some goal!

It was freezing tonight at Moss Lane! It'll be even worse when we play Liverpool reserves there in two weeks. I'm still bloody cold now and its 1:30 in the sodding morning.

Yeah, I actually forgot about Lawrence since I didn't watch the first 20, and he was substituted in the second half. He was very good, as he has been the few times I've seen him.

But Januzaj, you can just tell he's a very, very accomplished footballer. Yesterday he strolled around, beating people at ease. Great stuff.

Januzaj just makes it look so easy the way he beats players, and he's a magnificent passer too. I know the opposition were nothing to write home about, but then they're a lower league club and have a minute fraction of our budget to spend on players and academy facilities etc.

Yeah but Lawrence and Barmby are efficient - as probably the only 2 players in the side. The rest of them play some silky stuff - but they have a lot to learn about endproducts

True, but I think the reason Lawrence and Barmby look good is precisely because they're willing ti have a go. A lot of the other lads are better footballers IMO, but they have that Arsenal thing of 'you have a go fella', 'no, you try it mate' going on. Having said that, the actual football they play is even better than the last crop IMO.

First goal by Lawrence is very nicely taken. Third goal a true United goal that. I don't watch any of the youth games, any names we should be looking out for in the future?
