England was defeated by Russia today, 2-0. I am viewing the article from a Russian source, which doesn't mention the English players' clubs, but England's line-up was:

Annerson, Omozusi, Holburn, Muamba, Hobbes, Mancienne, Hewson (Martin, 64), Johnson, Heins, Ephraim, Hammill (Jervis, 81).

Note that I am transliterating from Russian, so some names may be misspelled. I wonder if that's our Hewson.

it is indeed our Hewson. did well apparently, came close to scoring a couple of times. there's a short article about it on manutd.com.
