United youth against Exeter

Exeter City's youth teams are gearing up for a mouthwatering trip to face Manchester United next Thursday.The under-9s, right through to the under-14s, will take on the Premiership club's youth sides before pitting their wits against Crewe Alexandra 24 hours later.

The trip is costing the club something in the region of £5,000 and they are seeking businesses who want to sponsor or help fund the tour.

Grecians director of football Steve Perryman said: "It's a learning mission for our players to see new things, a new training ground and a new set-up at one of the top clubs in the world.



"It is great that we can do it, but sometimes it is difficult given the constraints at the club so as much help as we can get the better.

"If anyone wants to help us do that and then they want me to help them I am happy to do that."
