Young signings?

Very often we hear about young prodigies in Brazil, Norway, etc. getting looks from United, or even just interest. Are those articles normally just media spin? Or do we actually sign a lot of these lads to our youth teams? Ignoring Fabio/Raphael, who've gotten enough coverage to believe that we'll be signing them in the summer, have we signed any brilliant young talents to our youth team this year or last?

Thanks for any info you guys have.

ummm well Fabio and Rafael are over here training apparently, Rodrigo Possebon is playing in the reserves. We have signed Joshua King too and he is playing in the under 16's(not sure about that may be the u18's). We have got Federico Macheda from Lazio too who has been playing for the u18's and recently made his reserve debut which is impressive for a 16 year old but may say more about our depth of strikers.

We also have a few in the u18's that have been here a while, Eikrem, Zieler and Brandao.

may have missed some out but they're the ones I can remember off hand so some of the facts may be wrong because there are others, like Mr MUJAC who know a lot more than me.
