You start one season well and suddenly your the benchmark, the team that has not lifted the league is yrs.
Put down the crackpipe, take in a little natural air and try to look at it as a football fan.
No team this season is proving dominant, chelski win a few games while playing average "Ashley Cole, we can be the blue invicibles" & "Terry, MU have started slow, they will find it hard to catch us now"
LV start the season flying, and you go to the coast and decide to rest your key players. Maybe assuming you'll pick up the points with your resplendent new squad with indepth cover, and get a point.
So lets just leave the drugs alone, let people keeps their wheel trims 7 maybe look at the table after X-mas.

That's a bizarre view. 4 goals in 6 games is a terrible return, no matter what the circumstances...particularly when you've had home games against the likes of Reading and Sunderland.

Fair do's that it's too early to be overly concerned...but to suggest that other teams should be worried by the fact that you're struggling to score goals is a bit mental

so the others can ignore us?

as Champions of course any other team needs to be concerned about us...especially as even with a poor start we are close to the leaders...game in hand or not...

I didn't say that, and I doubt anyone will be ignoring you. Just not viewing your lack of goals as a bad thing

i think some of you do have a point in that yes we did exceptionally well in scoring goals without ruud and yes ronaldo played out of his skin.. but to expect the exact same thing to happen every following season is ott. yes we don't
"need" a traditional targetman CF, but i personally would like the "option" of having one. we could play rooney and tevez or saha and play well... but i dont see what is so bad about having a ruud-like player to come in when there's injuries or the starting strikers are not scoring, or to change the way we play being more direct in our attack.

Nice place though. Been to Bali some years back. You should get your parents to take you there sometime.

Anyway, good to see one of United's most intelligent fan still around. Cant wait for you to hit posting #10,000.

You're right 4 in 6 is terrible...specially compared to last seasons standards. But, this is probably our bad patch & we've still won three on the bounce. When we come good, which we will, there will be a few pastings handed out. LFC may even be on the receiving end of one...that's what you should be worried about.

Totally agree, a team needs to have as many options of attack as possible because sometime if a team is playing deep and playing well you might find it impossible to pass the ball into the net. If i am honest i wouldn't mind us having a thug of a CF, a better version of "Duncan Fergusson"

Anyone know of such a player?

Love it. The idiots make the same mistake every fucking season - Davo and chums come out of the woodwork, posting in the Utd forums telling us all our problems. Dickheads!

Ronaldo has proved not to be a 20 goals a season type of player. He's a 40 goals a season type of player.

I like threads like these. What are the odds of Davo returning when the new season starts?

Feeling foolish are we?

We not only had one player last season who scored more than double 20 goals, we also had two who were touching on 20 goals

He is probably dead.

Last activity was on December 18 2007

Dont know why he has a 5 in front of his post count? Jason might be pretty angry about that.

Or a zero after it I think a mod did it so that Jason wouldn't have the highest post-count. It might even have been Jason himself, I can't remember.
