54 long, long years ago our Babes fell in Munich, a team so rich in talent, so young and confident, that I don't think we'll ever find another one like it. As each year passes, we lose those who knew them, who played with them, who was around at the time. It's up to us, to pass on to the next generation what this team that gave up so much meant to the club, to the fans and what they still mean to this club and the fans.
Long gone may the Babes be, but we shall not forget them, we can not forget them. RIP The Babes. |
