He's actually telling the truth. In other words he has no idea what the fks going on. Ronnie hasn't followed orders. Naughty Ronnie. I do believe he's pissing of Madrid more than he is us! Checked the filters. They're working fine.

Tribalfootball and all that, but whatever Barcelona do or say has a certain level of class to it IMO - I like those Catalans, I have to say, I like how they carry themselves and how they represent the club. |

Real Madrid gotta be the lowest of the low, talking about signing Ronaldo everyday when the truth is they could not afford to pay the fee to sign him.
Just get rid of rid and whats left? Real Mad. |

It devalued the cup but probably would have happened had we played a second team. |

Just read Jasonrh's rants about "foreign fans"
Your posts were a good example of jumping in to make a pointless 'point'.
Who devalued the FA Cup? Not me. Quote one word or line where I 'devalued' it. It was clear (except to you and others with plastic axes to try and grind) that I was saying for Ronaldo the League title and the European Cup are THE priorities. No less an authority than Sir Alex and the team would agree with me. As a person reading my post without the intention of nit picking realises, the FA Cup and League Cup were mentioned together in my post because they are the domestic cup competitions. Most of us here know the prestige and history of the FA Cup but the realities of the past decade have seen it become a priority for United to win but not THE priority. The priority is to win everything going, but the days when the FA Cup was so important for United because we were not in title contention are over. Yes, it would have been fantastic to win the Treble. But ask the team and manager and fans if they would rather have seen us do the domestic double or win the European Cup and the title, it's clear what would have been said. As for your implication that "foreign fans" somehow devalue United - what a load of rubbish. Some of us became diehard United fans when the club was in one of its worst spells. ![]() I'm glad you can rush to judgement based on a line mentioning the FA Cup and League Cup together - it does help me form an opinion of your intelligence or lack thereof. ![]() |

TENNIS champ Rafael Nadal got some more good news after winning Wimbledon — he was told his beloved Real Madrid had signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real president Ramon Calderon told club fanatic Nadal the deal for the Manchester United ace was “done and dusted”. The two spoke just hours after 22-year-old Nadal had beaten Roger Federer in their Centre Court final epic on Sunday. It confirms Real are NOT ending their £70million pursuit of Ronaldo despite the Premier League champions’ insistence they will not sell. Nadal met Calderon in the grounds of the All England Club on Sunday night and a Spanish-speaking onlooker heard him ask: “OK, President, where’s this Cristiano Ronaldo we’re supposed to be signing?” The Real chief replied: “Relax, Rafa, everything’s under control and we’ve got him done and dusted.” Real are now hoping Ronaldo will bring the saga to an end by publicly saying he intends to quit Old Trafford. A fan who got to see the star in hospital as he recovered from an ankle op said Ronaldo told him: “I hope I’ll be as good in Spain as I was in England.” David Jolly, 23 — whose dad is Portuguese — sneaked into Ronaldo’s room in Amsterdam. He said: “As we left my father said, ‘Good luck in Madrid’ and Cristiano made his remark. “He said it with a big smile. It left us in no doubt about his intention to go to Spain. He talked like he was already going.” He may be on his way, but Ronaldo, 23, was struggling as he left Amsterdam yesterday — with his crutches. He limped through Schiphol Airport before boarding a plane to Lisbon — but will his final destination be Manchester or Madrid? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...cle1398915.ece ![]() |

Luiz Felipe Scolari: I never advised Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Man Utd and join Real Madrid
By William Gray Last Updated: 1:00am BST 09/07/2008 Luiz Felipe Scolari insisted yesterday that he had never made an attempt to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to quit Manchester United for Real Madrid. Scolari was asked if he wanted the man who scored 41 goals last season for the champions to quit Old Trafford, but he said: "I never advised Cristiano to change clubs. If Ronaldo stays or not, it is not my business." The Brazilian was in charge of the 23-year-old winger during Portugal's Euro 2008 campaign. United took exception to what was believed to be an unhelpful intervention when he was quoted last month as saying: "I know Cristiano well. His dream is to play for Real and I am sure he will do whatever it takes to fulfil that. You'll never break Cristiano Ronaldo - he's the strongest man in football." But with Real Madrid stepping up their campaign to land the £80 million-rated player yesterday, Scolari insisted that he did not believe Chelsea's chances of winning the title will be improved even if Ronaldo does move to Spain. He said: "Ronaldo is a fantastic player in any league. But if he goes or doesn't go, the league is very difficult for Chelsea." Ronaldo yesterday left the AMC Amsterdam Hospital on crutches after having surgery on his injured right ankle." link He's lying. |
