An Alternative to FC United

The Reserves and Youth Sides

Just an idea, but those who are burning their season tickets and refusing to go again, how about going to the Reserve and Youth team games, where the entrance fee is relatively tiny and the tv coverage is only MUTV--i.e. you'd still be hurting Glazer, and at the same time, supporting the club and the players who are the future of the Phoenix Club when it rises again (since we won't be able to afford expensive players by then, home grown is what we'll be left with). A solution for those who don't want to support Glazer but don't want to stop seeing Manchester United.

Actually I was thinking about going to a few reserve games next season. And yeah I think that's a good idea......

altho' I am against it on the principle, that it's one of yours.

I also suggest that in the event of FC United being set up, that a forum be created for them on here, plus a forum for Youth and Reserve team news and discussion.

Glazer might pump in more funds than expected to strengthen the first team as his marketing dreams will depend on our successes. But he will care a feck for the academy and youth development.

He might after a while, but he could hardly charge as much as for first team--and sky still won't cover it. We have sides in a couple of leagues too--and then there's the youth teams... Its a good protest either way.
