What time you on there now, how come you moved away? I need to get out of manchester, the only thing that keeps me here is united an me mates. And sayin that I dont do old trafford after the takeover plus dont always get to see me mates. I could move to spain and wouldnt notice the difference. Sick of work, the weather, just drab old manchester

It's about 10:30 PM right now
I was 12 when we moved, so didn't have much choice in the matter tbh, but we come back and visit every summer. The weather isn't as drab, but gets really snowy sometimes... and footy isnt as readily available.. |

Right, do not take this the wrong way, whatsoever, I promise I do not mean this question to be derogotry. But if you come from say Indonesia, why support MANCHESTER united? Its only a question, because I dont understand, not a critiscm as I have met plenty of cockney reds who I have a lot of fuckin respect for.
But just tell me why. |

Since i was in nursery all my mates were big united fans, suppose i just fell into the club from there really, didn't really have a local club either (lived in Epsom, kinda close to wimbledon i suppose though), but after the first season of watching United i suppose i grew a bit enamored by them.

It was a bit of an annoyance for my old man to drive 5 hrs each way for matches, and i suppose if i was raised in an area where there was a local footy team i'd be a fan of theirs, but since there wasnt and everyone around me was a united fan, it just ended up happening that way, can't say i regret it though.
I suppose every schoolboy needs a team to support, we just didnt' have one where i lived , so my primary school was all arsenal or united fans, and one chelsea fan, kept calling the 4-0 FA cup win a fluke, still remember that haha. |
