Seems like the reserves did it the hard way again. Concede first then fight back to victory. Silvestre will have benefitted enormously from this game and thats a good sign. Also players like Welbeck and Eagles have been very impressive yet again.

Only saw the first half hour or so but I thought you could see how much better Welbeck is when he isn't playing as a lone forward. Him and Macheda seem to have a great understanding of each other as well, they should both keep their places.

Got to be said, though, Chris Eagles is by far our best reserve team player and has been all season. |

Silvestre is back. Thats good no know. I am sure we will need his experience a lot. He is a not bad CB and can even play LB at times. Good back up. Perfect timing. If we could get back Gary this week, it would be splendid.
Imagine the back up defenders we will have to fight for both competitions. Just what we need right now.. The boy Welbeck has a long way to go but I think playing together with rooney, ronaldo, nani, anderson, blended with the experience of Scholes, giggsy, hargo and ole...he is going to be a real classic player Hope to see manucho soon though...partner with Saha.....We could fight for all cups even getting the mickey mouse one next year...!!!! |
