A lot of Gers only kicked off after the screen at Piccadilly Gardens didn't work.
Would our lads have behaved that differently after being on the piss all day and then being at risk of not watching the game?

That's rough, though. Bad news. Still, you really are better off watching it in a boozer, IMO. Outdoor screens always attract a scummy element.
Nah. The 'fan fests' in Germany at the World Cup were ace. Such a great atmosphere....

Why aren't they doing that ?

As many of you know for the uefa cup final in manchester the council has put up big screens and made fan zones for rangers and zenith. The only reason they have done this is because fans from both clubs got in contact with them complaining that they were not doing it.

There are currently no plans to put up big screens for us united fans next week! Please everyone email them at the address below complaining about it.

Lets make this happen so we can watch united lift the european cup with fellow fans in a great atmosphere!

come on lads, lets do our best to let the city council know how we feel.

fuck what the Scots and Russians have been upto - it shouldnt matter - this is our city

There will be big screens up in the centre and hopefully they will work this time.

GMP overreacted last night and caused a riot, but they'll be less inclined to do that faced with the locals.

Oh, and MUST is opening a second venue due to high demand at the first (sold out in days!). Check www.joinmust.org for details.

They should put up big screens in Glasgow and invite any Mancs who fancy it to head up there and trash the place!

Signed, just because a few cunts from north of the border couldn't control themselves, they shouldn't ruin the final for us. Just heard on the radio they aren't putting them up again though so not much hope.

For anyone in and around Manchester for the final that's interested in being close to the ground; I called the Bishop Blaize yesterday. It's £3 at the door, no tickets, no food all day, match-day prices and no kids. They also recommended getting there early. Hope this helps.

I think the success of the MUST venues has taken everyone by surprise. 3 venues full and a 4th selling rapidly. Going to be a top night.

Is the money going to must, or is it just to pay costs. Hope something is being done to raise funds!
