Carlos tevez...legend or cunt???

TEVEZ: RON SHOULD BE GIVEN REAL DEAL

Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has broken ranks by claiming Cristiano Ronaldo should be allowed to join Real Madrid if he wishes.

Ronaldo has been the transfer story of the summer, with the Portugal winger expressing his desire to play for Real, who in turn have made him their number one target.

United have been furious with Real's public pursuit of the player, once again reiterating this week that they have no intention of selling their prize asset.

But Old Trafford team-mate Tevez has risked incurring the wrath of Sir Alex Ferguson by claiming the European champions should not stand in Ronaldo's way if he wants to leave.

"The [United] team has great players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, of course," Tevez told AS.

"It's clear that he is a very important player for us, but this is a personal decision, which is up to only him.

"I understand Cristiano. Every footballer wants to play at Real Madrid. On the other hand, I also think that everyone wants to play for Manchester United, but if what he seeks is something else, I think that should be respected.

"I have not talked to him, but when these things happen, neither side feels good."

Actually...he didn't really say that Real were better draw than United. Just said players dream of playing at Real and just as much players dream of playing for United. That is a fair comment

Well Tevez I don't think likes ronaldo too much especially after the penalty incident last season. Any way if ronaldo leaves Tevez will come into his own Anyway he probably never said any of that any way.

Fair statement, everyone is entitled to his own opinion. Just a pity you find people with differing opinion from yourself as morons.

Classic tabloid manipulation. I would imagine that the quotes have been culled from wider responses, where he has given his answers to generalised questions without stating his specific view.
Normal for the papers to do this to any players comments, in connection with club vs player turmoil.
Hating players on the basis of this sort of stuff is pointless, still enough on here will do it, no doubt.

This will turn out to be yet another "classic" Hiddink thread.

Tevez is not a legend but nor is a cunt for effectively saying United and Madrid are on a level par.

Footballers aside, when it comes to deciding which member of the caf to hate, I'm happy to say that you, GusHiddink, make it all very straightforward and much less controversial than most topics discussed on here.

Nice work.

What's the fuss here. Tevez was clearly talking about how one player can view Madrid as the best place to play football. That's pretty natural, especially if they are from that culture originally. He also praises us. Nothing to see here, methinks.

That little comparison might stand up if Keane and Tevez had been making even remotely the same point.

Tevez is well on his way to being a legend though. He is going to be a hero for us this season.

No. Keane was saying players should be out for themselves, as clubs are. That they shouldn't allow themselves be stuck with clubs since the clubs can ditch the any time they want. Tevez is saying that certain players may view Madrid as their ideal destination, although he personally thinks Manchester is. And if it is their dream then what can you do?

Myopic cunt? Cheers.

Insults arrive when people disagree with you. Classic Gus. Sorry, I mean, Gus the spastic.

I did find it slightly weird that he said that given he is a manager at the moment. Let's say Chelsea come in for Kenwyne Jones, would Keane still share the same sentiments?

when did tevez make these comments anyway? As have people in south africa?

The problem, for me, with what keane said is that he's still bitter about how he left and I think his opinion was based on that but Sir Alex was proved right anyway in that case as we successfully replaced him with Carrick and various others

This, as most things are when it comes to Ronnie, is being blown totally out of proportion. Tevez was correct in what he says. And does it really matter what he says anyway?? It's not as if his comments will have affected the on/off Ronnie transfer saga. I don't think SAF is going to relent and sell Ronnie because of Tevez's comments. Jesus lads, relax.
