Chelsea return 5,000 Champions League tickets.

Small time club they are. Wonder if Kenyon still believe they
are gonna be bigger than Manchester United one day. Deluded Cunt.

Forgetting the "small time" jokes for a second, it must have been harder for them to get flights, hotels etc as we got a days head start on booking.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we return some.

Word is there's about 1,000 unsold after ST holders, but I'd have thought that 140,000 members will managed to snap them up.

Do we get the 5,000 Chelsea returned?

First of all have you thought what is the cost of the whole trip is plus the various expenses in Moscow? It's quite expensive. Also many students have A Level exams the next day, like me, so that means they can't go.

This is false, as I understand it we are virtually sold out.

1) Yes it's expensive but it's the CL final, we could win it for a 3rd time, they could win it their 1st surely you'd pay for that experience?

2) I'm not sure what percentage of the United fanbase are students but I wouldn't base your idea of our fanbase just on the makeup of posters on this forum (if thats what you're doing?)

Quite funny on one of the Chelsea forums some people were seriously suggesting if they can afford to spend 30 mil on Shevchenko then they should pay out a million to pay for the Chelsea fans travel package or subsidise a hotel for them lol.

Think they forgot it's them who supports the club and not the club who supports them!

No, but young supporters are not that rare. Also they can follow the team more than others as they have a less responsibilities. It might be one of the many reasons, of course, not the only one.

Edit: The article might be a joke and all this talk now a nonsense.

Speaking of nonsense: the lack of responsibilities trades off against the lack of salary, surely?!

To be honest, I have no idea about this website.
It was sent to me by a mate in London.
In anycase, just take it with a pinch of salt.

In a perfect world the players of each teams should pay tickets flights and hotels for the ones lucky enough to get a ticket. It would be peanuts to them and a way to really say a big THANK YOU for all the support they get from those loyal fans all year around. Without us there would be no such thing as Manchester United FC

£40m isn't peanuts, even to Premiership footballers!

Nice thought though...

If you live at home with your parents giving them fifty quid a week or whatever the going rate is nowadays then you've got much more disposable income than someone with a house and kids.

It will be worth it in the end fella unless your doing one of those Macdonalds or Tesco's degrees.

I moved out of home when I turned 18 and could barely afford to eat let alone go to the footy.

It's only in recent years I've been able to go regularly.

My girlfriends a student so I do sympathise with you. I know what it's like for you guys having to balance eating and clothing with booze and weed

they cant fill the bridge for a Cl game against Rosenburg let alone an away match!

I went to Everton VS Chelsea in the Carling Cup and they sent 2000 tickets back for a semi final FFS.
