They made me pay a fiver more for my ticket in the first knockout round, eight more for the quarter finals, and a tenner more for the Barca semi

I am less outraged this season because I knew they were doing it. Unlike last season, where they did the same thing, but without telling you. And being tied in to buy the tickets, nothing you could do about it. They frankly could have charged £500 according to the terms and conditions they set out. I merely think they are a savage bunch of money thieving imbiciles this time round, to put it nicely

The price they were back in 2005.

Plus 50% Glazer tax.

Plus £10 addition Glazer Special European tax.

So, your £22 ST2 ticket on the day that dear old Malc took over the club will now cost you the magic total of - £43!

Oh, and Malc says you have to buy it or you lose your ST. Such is life!

(Unless, of course, he decides he can sell it for even more on hospitality, in which case you don't get to buy it wheter you want to or not).

I ended up paying about 500 pounds, all told, for that game against Lille, which is the worst football match I've ever seen, not counting games between 5-year-olds or Liverpool and Chelsea. Not been to a CL game since.

How did you end up paying that much?

I traveled from Prague via Brno and London. Brno also featured, disappointingly and unnecessarily, in the return journey

Spastic episode

Midweek games in general are a pain in the arse.

If I wanted to go to one at OT, it would mean one, potentially two days off work, which for me is two days lost pay. Plus inflated travel costs, ticket, and most likely accomodation costs, and inevitabe extra cost caused by me spazzing something up.

It all adds up. It's just not worth it to see United's reserves arse about against Roma for an hour and a half.

I'm hopefully going to the Barca game though. Which will immediately render it a rubbish cat-and-mouse non-event.

Do the decent thing and give your ticket to someone less unlucky than you.

For example, everytime I've been this season, we've won
