Coming out early for the second half...
It's something we've done a few times this season and each time we seem to have started the second half poorly.
I can't remember the exact matches but I'm pretty sure Basle away was one of them and I think the 6-1 against City was another. Has anybody else noticed this? Am I reading too much into it? |

I have been doing some observation myself and have learned that when the players wear yellow jockstraps it increases the chance of injury by 27%.
I'll write a letter to Frogie with our finding immediately. |

Nothing in it but it was a bit disappointing to see them stood around talking when it was so cold and their muscles were bound to be tightening up.
Nothing to do with the goals we conceded though, but from a physio perspective I'd expect the players were told to keep warm which they didn't seem to be doing. Also, regardless of how cold the away dressing room was, our 1st half performance was clearly one where SAF only needed to say "carry on as you're doing". We weren't amazing but were (and are) a class above in terms of quality of football. |

We've conceded quite a few goals after half time this season (and started it sloppily).
Newcastle away, Blackburn at home, Arsenal away, Chelsea away, City FA Cup, Stoke away, Chelsea at home. might be more? |

We pretty much always come out early for the second half. And the commentators pretty much always mention it like it's some amazing shock, from which they can infer all sorts of insights into Fergie's mood and the team's mentality at that point.
I reckon that, at this age, the gaffer just wants to leave plenty of time to go for a piss. |

I like this thread, seems parallel with my Not using all three subs and the tactical differences
If we cut these 2 things I think we will fare better. Not sure if I am joking either. |
