At the time I thought Berbatov was a fantastic signing from a Champions League point of view with it's more technical requirements and slower pace but even that didn't work out. As someone else pointed out, much like Veron, a player I loved to watch but didn't quite get the job done.

He shouldn't have been signed in the first place.

Amazing talent, great player but his attributes don't suit United and never will.

His style suits international play and leagues like Serie A and La Liga.

He can't be labelled a flop though. He won the golden boot without taking any free kicks or penalties. Say what you want about scoring in bunches and against the lower-league teams. Golden boot winners who helped with 2 titles aren't flops.

I have a weird way of looking at things but I think the misses against Chelsea in 2010 and misses against City last season in the FA Cup made all the trust Fergie had in Berbatov to be lost. Had he scored in these games and played well things would have been really different.

If Berbatov is a flop we'll have to invent a new word for Torres and Carroll.

Great show from Berba yesterday. Created, scored and played one of the great passes of the season in the first half.

The haircut has got to go though.

At he rate he is receding, don't think it'll be an issue for too much longer.

Good game against Stoke, but he really should have scored at the death.
