If you want to be scientific about it they're actually the same height. Due to Einstein's theory of relativity and since Ronaldo is faster than Rooney he shrinks when travelling at top speeds. However since Rooney is a scouser that makes him shorter by default. However there is a clear paradox within this argument that has already been pointed out in this thread; since they are in different positions then their actual height can only be judged relative to their position on the pitch and not a universalising theory.

Let me refute you there robthered. Actually, the idea of human evolution is not theologicaly accepted nor is it even scientifically acceptable. The simple answer is through the soul. Regarding the Crouch factor, I think that whether you take an evolutionary view or a theological view is irrelevant. From an evolutionary viewpoint, Crouch is clearly an anomaly having become Dutch ahead of his time and shoud be ignored. Theologically, by playing for Liverpool he has sold his soul and is an anomaly in that respect also.
