The defining moment of their United career thus far.

VDS
Gary
Brown
Rio
Vidic
O'Shea
Evra
Silvestre
Ronaldo
Fletcher
Hargreaves
Carrick
Scholes
Anderson
Nani
Park
Giggs
Rooney
Tevez
Saha

Those are the players who i think have probably played enough games this season or had the years of service to have a "defining moment". Of course for some they will create new and better oen in the future but for others there is one in the past that can never be surpassed.

But what act or incident this year or in the dcade gone by epitomises each one as a footballer for thsi club in your view?

VDS - To come in Moscow, for now probably his save vs Liverpool last season at Anfailed
Gary - Him running around like a maniac after we won the European Cup in Barcelona
Brown - Arjen Robben brwnd at the F.A. Cup final last year. Had to go off injured, spent roughly five minutes on the pitch. Good lad Wesley, you complete Divinity
Rio - To come, for now his casual disregard of Torres and subsequent rapage will do me.
Vidic - Plenty of rapage displays, hard to single out one classic moment, so I'll go with his picking his teeth off the Stamford bridge pitch
O'Shea - Putting the ball in the scousers net in front of the Kop in the last minute, clearly. His sublime chip against Arsenal and subsequent bemusement is a close second, mind.
Evra - His best moment was against Arsenal earlier on this season, setting up Ronaldo to score. Numerous fantastic displays and quite a bit of him holding his face on the ground spring to mind
Silvestre - Game against Newcastle a few years ago, where he was left with 3 strikers against just him, bearing down on goal, managed, somehow to close down all 3 while they were passing to each other and eventually cleared it. Strange player, many instances of him passing the ball straight to the opposition which would 'define' him as well i suppose, but I'll be generous.
Ronaldo - Goal against Fulham (away) last year to win us the league. Heroic. It was all worth it.
Fletcher - Goal against Chelsea. Unexpectedly fantastic. Darren Fletcher, right there.
Hargreaves - To come. Untill then, quite a few instances of him running around in circles. I'll mention the Arsenal free-kick as well, why not.
Carrick - Roma. 7-1. He is da man.
Scholes - Newcastle hat-trick 00-01 season. Magic.
Anderson - Him megging Fabregash, for now.
Nani - Goal versus Spurs, for now. Latino transvestite.
Park - His assist for Rooney against Spurs at the tail end of the 05-06 season. Just continual determination, untill he won it. Defines the chap, for me. Great lad.
Giggs - Arsenal cup final replay 99. Absolute legend
Rooney - Portsmouth chip, for now.
Tevez - Goal against Spurs, last minute. Good lad.
Saha - Chelsea Henry-like goal of genius. Promptly followed by 5 yard miss the second half. If he had've got injured, that game would be a microcosm of the lad's career

Nevermind, I'm talking bullshit, I would agree with Ronaldo's goal against Fulham, maybe a couple of goals in Europe this year

That header against Roma would be a good candidate for Ronaldo

Carrick - Roma last year
Fletcher - Old Trafford goal against Chelsea. Big game player.
Park - His unbelievable header in Rome to set up Rooney this year.
Giggs - Too many to name, assist for Sheringham's goal, FA Cup winner etc
Scholes Too many - pick a volley or screamer or assist from over the years
Ronaldo - His volley on the first game of the season last year when he finished Rooney's beauty cross. Everyone said they hated each other and couldn't play in the same team. They fuckin showed everyone. It was basically a sign of things to come. We all know what went on after that game.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who remembered that. I've mentioned that a few times, probably my favourite little snapshot of defending I've ever seen. I literally stood up in front of my tv and gave him a standing ovation.

heres a few, the younger players have a long way to go yet and a few likes scholes for example, can define their career in moscow.

Gary - the scousers celebration.
Brown - barcelona home / away??
Rio - liverpool at home 1-0, the day that he started to finally win people over IMO.

O'Shea - no contest, unless he scored winner in CL final, it has to be anfield. one of the most famous goals of the decade so far.

Fletcher - that chelsea goal.
Giggs - arsenal 99.
Saha - getting injured against bolton.
