Opting out effectively bars you from applying to attend any away games as I understand it, are you happy to make that choice?
I'm still in the cup scheme, but this season it at least makes it easier to get aways. Although my 100% chubbing record is still intact thus far... |

This only concerns STH's who didn't opt out before the start of the season and are therefore able to decide whether they wish to attend on a match-match basis.
Considering the draw was made on the 30th August I wouldn't be surprised if a few people got caught out by the 2nd September deadline. |

![]() And if I happen to be in the UK when we are playing away, like I will be next month, I'll get myself a ticket anyway. |

As normal they'll go on sale firstly to exec etc and season ticket holders 'who have applied for all cup games'. It rarely gets past that stage. |

I already opted out for the whole season but i did not know this would have any ramifications on my ability to apply for away tickets?
If they hadn't offered the opt out option then I might not have renewed this season as I was pretty pissed off last year - especially since I actually sat through the travesty that was our match against Coventry last year. |

My chubbing stands for domestic games, given I got a Champions league ticket for the final last season. Though didn't everyone that applied. Why incidently is that not included in the 'who can apply for Aalborg away' criteria?
I reckon I've applied for about 30 domestic aways without success. I don't post on RI though |

It seems if you can get in with the right crowd, aways are not a problem, but for the rest of us it's just a fading dream. At least with the carling cup opt out a fair few might not be able to apply, which should slighly increase our chances of getting a ticket. |

I've opted out of this match.
Bit of a pisser about the aways, but then I remembered I've never managed to get a domestic away through my ST anyway, so it makes no difference... |

It amazes me how some people reckon they get 3 or 4 a season while we struggle to get 1. I just keep applying for them regardless in the hope that in 5/6 years time I may find my way into that loyalty pot!! |

Please help and answer the following questions for me:-
1) How do you opt out on a certain match? And if you do, does that seriously damage your loyalty for away tickets for the rest of the season? 2) If I don't turn upto a home game, but the money has come out of my account for a cup game, will that ruin my chances of getting a final ticket if we make it? 3) If I use viagogo and someone buys that ticket of my seat, is it classed that my seat was used and I still have a 100% loyalty if I want to try and apply for away games? Its all very confusing to me ![]() |

2) as long as you have paid for your ticket and it's on your online booking history you are fine whether you go or not 3) viagogo also makes you ineligible for aways |

I might just put only league and cup games on viagogo and save the champions league tickets as the champ league away games are important for me. |

For example priority for Aalborg away is given to those who travelled to kiev, lisbon, Lyon, Rome x 2, barcelona, etc. I'm hoping to go to Celtic away but dont hold much hope of getting a ticket. |

I'm not bothered about the celtic away. I'll be applying of course for it. If I'm succesful, you can have it. |

Also, I don't really follow your logic - I believe putting any tickets on viagogo means you can't apply for any aways... ![]() |

Can't be true, I put a couple of league games on Viagogo last season, and was still elligible to apply for aways, successfully in the case of Moscow when the initial restrictions to ticketing were in place
