OK Keane is a legend, one of the greatest players I've ever seen and he deserves all the praise he gets, but the tackle on Halland was a disgrace, don't know why people would consider that a favourite moment.

Neither do I in all honesty. Keane was a great player and arguably the best player Ferguson has had under his reign but he was a cnut at times.

I think it's a disgrace as well, but didn't he keep on provoking Keane? If I remember correctly and he did, the tosser had it coming.

Roy Keane can't do any wrong. He is always right. He punished Haaland on God's orders.

Totally agreed. Absolute thuggish behavior.

Lambasting players who deserved it.
Spot on, especially about his performances in the WC qualifiers 2002. That was the best display of sustained brilliance I've ever seen over the course of one of those campaigns. I honestly believe that if he'd been born English they'd have won at least one major tournament in that time, he made the players around him more confident just by having him out there, he made good players look great at times.

Very true. Just like Paul McGrath. Wierd thought but if Paul McGrath had Keane's intensity and desire he could have been one the all time greats (I think he was already but some dont agree)

Agreed. I dont think that incident can be excused... whether it is Keano or not.

I didnīt like the Haaland episode. The other mentioned though I loved and it just goes to show what a brilliant piece of business SAF did when signing him. I remember in autumn 0f 94, I think, when he played rightback and their leftwing who was supposed to be fast (donīt remember who it was) got clean through on the wing. Keano a couple of yards away catched up with him and thundered right into him to give away the through. At that moment I knew weīd got a bargain even though it was a record-fee at the time

Probably loads more as well.
