Doubt we'll be as unarsed as that in the CL proper somehow.
Also, I wouldn't have minded Madrid as a glamour fixture, without the pressure of going out if we lose. We'd hardly have spanked them though. We'd maybe win the home game by a goal or two, then spend the away game trying not to concede any goals. |

Momentum is important at any stage of the season and certain players were outclassed last night. Anyone who thinks 'well it was only a friendly and we weren't really trying' should have a serious rethink! Having said that....it is not all doom and gloom either. Easily 5 or 6 nil. We didn't play well, but they have a lot more match fitness. We could easily have got a draw out of it despite not playing well for most of the match.
