tbh I never liked Ronaldo when he first arrived. Not the same with Anderson. He's got a bit of "fuck off I'm better" mentality that everybody loves

I have not been more excited about a player after his first year. If he develops to his potential I reckon he could become the best CM in the world, he has it all, and no one can say he doesn't show up in big games, because he has shown up in every big game he has been asked to at United. The lad only needed one kick of the ball to show his worth in United's biggest game in 10 years.

he's off to Madrid soon after, though.

We all love Ando, he has a bright future ahead. He just need to score goals to improve his game.

Also you dont see always a 19 years old lad making Gerrard look like a rookie at Anfield.

I love it when he looks really disgusted when in a high pressure situation. It's his trademark "im about to shit on you" look.

The only thing he lacks in his game is goals. Other than that he will become a complete midfielder.

It seems to me that having a proper attitude is a really important quality for a United player, I think Fergie demands it. There's no doubt that the likes of Tevez, Nani, and Anderson have some steel about them. One of the best things about the signings we made last summer is that, although Nani in particular is a bit rough and petulant sometimes, they can clearly look after themselves and won't go hiding.

That's a fairly contradicting statement.

Anderson does look like he'l become one of the best cm's in a few years time, but first we need to find his best position.

Pretty much every other United fan i know loved Ronaldo when he first arrived, he was a breath of fresh air, and the fans warmed to a potential young genius. All i can remember is excitement from United fans when he just got here.

Kinda faded out towards the end of the season it seemed, but he made us forget about scholes for a few months which is a fucking achievement of its own. Can't wait till he scores his first goal.

Remember his run vs Villa? Fucking wank-worthy

He has huge potential. Could be our next "Ronaldo" case within the next 2 years.

I wonder if people will get on his back like Ronaldo, when he does the exact same things?

He did, Gerrard got an excellent tackle on him before he had the chance to have a shot on goal.

I'm sure they will, fans are fickle it's just the way it is.

However, I don''t see Anderson following along the same route with a number of South Americans here I can see him staying for a long time. That could quite easily just be blind faith and his personality misleading me. I would think a lot of it depends on Querioz but I'm not sure.

Think if he gets a few goals he will explode (not literally) as we all hope he will. he had a few good efforts last night that got me out of the chair. cus even for brasil a goal wouldve been great for him.
