If you had to pick 1 player who'd score the winner...
for us in the champions league final, who'd it be?
I imagine a popular answer would be 'couldn't give a fuck as long as we win', However, the legend of Solskjaer was enhanced by his winner, for which he'll always be remembered. So which of our players also deserves God like status for eternity? Giggs or Scholes, to top off their careers and as reward for such loyal and magnificent service? Or a newer player, a current fave? |

Mine would be Rooney.
Future united legend, no doubt about it. I feel he is often underrated by fans and the press...who tend to give all the plaudits to Ronaldo...I think it would be very important to Rooney if he got it. |

Ronaldo - anyone who works that hard to win us a League (or several leagues preferably) deserves a place in our special memories collection

Liking a player who has scored 7 goals or so in his career because he scores 1 goal would be logic that gets unstuck when he plays the next 50 matches without scoring again. If he actually played well in the champions league final I suspect he'd get more credit. Quote:
Then I'll go with Darren Fletcher. |
