Main thing is we get a winner.

Rooney for me. But better if Rooney, Anderson and Ronaldo a goal each.

Rooney for me. He's been one of our unsung heroes all season really with Ronaldo taking all the glory and rightly so but if i could choose one player to shine and score the winner for us it would be Rooney every time!

Or i wouldnt mind Anderson snatching the ball on the half way line, driving through the middle and smashing one home from 30 yards, that would do as well

It just has to be Scholes.

It would be nice to Anderson score as well . . . a 35 yard screamer into the top corner.

I would have said Scholes or Giggs but they've had their moments to shine now after Barca (h) and Wigan, so now I'd say maybe a Rio header from a corner or Rooney to repeat his goal against Newcastle from a couple of years back.

one of those really long kicks from VDS .. the one rooney will chase .. lands between the 2 CB's and bounces over cech's helmet ...
that goal will be brilliant

Rooney.

Would be another step towards legend status for him.

If not Rooney then one of the old ones, Scholes, Giggs or Wes Brown would be fun too.

Giggs, because:

1. He's never scored in a final
2. It would be poetry, scoring the winner in the CL final in the match in where he beats Sir Bobby's record
3. To stick it up his doubters

Anyone but Saha.

I really like him as a player, really. But if he scores the goal it could affect the decision to let him go. Now I'd feel a bit sad when he leaves because he's been a very good player for us when fit, but he doesnt play, If anyone could guarantee that if he stays he will have a full season then I dont mind, but that won't happen.
