If you were in a position of influence what would you like to see done?

For a club in a position such as ours i can see a benefit in a "debt tax" for the player's salaries. Practically speaking the they wouldn't feel it for no doubt it would be factored in during negotiations, however for us on the outside to know of such a guaranteed stream of money to that great burden we carry, it would be reassuring in it's fashion. You could apply the measure elsewhere too although how far you'd want to take it is open to debate.
