Isn't it funny...

The results the last couple of days means we are on the verge of securing the title.

Yet, there is less activity and people in here than when we're doing badly and get one or two bad results...

I think most of the people on here when we lost big matches were opposition fans reading our reactions!

people like a moan.

that said, i think we are going overboard with the title-shite.

now, if chelsea drop points to everton, i will slowly come around and feel we have one hand on the title.

right now we are still in a precarious position because we can very easily go into ewood park only 2 points up, and well...i don't need to explain the potential results after that, which could give the advantage to chelsea.

The most users on the Caf was during the Arsenal game I think.

Anyway there's more to discuss when we lose.

Nothing's done yet. The next two games are sticky. If Chelsea drop points at Everton and/or we win at Blackburn, I can't see us being stopped, but as it is, it's not inconceivable that they could be on top with two to go.

I think that we're lacking a lot of fans of opposition teams who are normally regulars in here.

No doubt they're all very busy with work commitments. etc.

I reckon we'll get a point at Blackburn. . .but I expect Chelsea to drop a couple of points at Goodison.

3 points at Ewood Park and it's in the bag. Win or lose at Stamford Bridge.

We may be on the verge of winning one trophy but it is still not over yet. Chelsea's result has pushed us that little bit closer but they still have to play Everton before us. If they fail to win there and we beat Blackburn then it will almost be confirmed.

Yes if they loose and we win, we will be 8 points clear with a maximum of 9 to play for. So yes that would clinch it! Come on Utd!!!

Only one sequence of results can put Chelsea in the driving seat - they win their next 2 and we lose back to back games.
They would be on 81 and us on 80.

They win 2 and we draw Blackburn and lose to Chel$ki puts us both on 81 (but our goal difference is vastly superior - they couldn't beat us 9-0, methinks.)

There are 27 possible scenarios in total of wins, draws and losses over our and their next 2 games.

11 of them give us the title at the Bridge.
5 of them leave us needing a point from our last 2 games.
2 of them leave us needing 2 points from our last 2 games.
2 of them leave us needing 3 points from our last 2 games.
4 of them leave us needing 4 points from our last 2 games.
3 of them leave us needing 6 points from our last 2 games

and only one of those 27 requires them to drop something in their last 2 - where we lose our next 2 back-to-back and they win their next 2.

It ain't over - but it's looking very good. Heskey, you beauty!

A win on Saturday at Ewood Park and the Scousers can start worrying about #18

If we beat Chelsea, then I will start thinking about the celebration for the title!

Nothing to celebrate in local pub when we lose or not getting a result. The caf is the best place to find grown men (and maybe women) whine and sulk when that happens.

First of all most of those that come when we lose points are just visitors. Also there's more to discuss when there's problem in the team than when we come closer to a title.

Chelsea will get all three points. In fact, they'll be so motivated that they'll put four past Everton. Any other result would be inconceivable.

Everton dont really stand a chance. The Chavs will bore them to sleep and score a single winning goal when they are napping.
