Can we all just not get along for the sake of the children?

Ok I am with you now - just came back in after a full day of watching footy but the FA Cup draw had passed me by completely

Not a done deal for Leeds yet - could still be bloody Kettering and any home cup draw is an arse as far as I am concerned!

Edit: so what happens if my seat is given to the away fans? Am I still forced to buy a ticket for elsewhere or can I opt out?
Having sat in North in the past, I have never had this issue before.

I got moved to the stretty a couple of times when I was in K stand.

For Coventry in the CC they stuck me in the north stand.

They'd get them a massive wheelchair and locate them in the vegetable patch in East Lower.

But were you forced to accept wherever you were relocated to? Wasnt the North Stand a more expensive seat?

Yeah didn't get a say they just posted me a ticket.

They charged me the increased amount of 44.00 as well.

Wow - I never realised they could do that - that is fucked up.
Im sure I remember a mate of mine in KStand saying he was given the choice of being moved or not having a ticket - I thought that was the standard deal when your block was given to away fans.

I had a ticket turn up at my door.

My heart sank when I saw it was in the north stand against Coventry.

I included it in my letter to the OFT.

I'm sure I had my seat upgraded for free when I had to move.

This was for the UEFA folk though, so it may be a different kettle of fish.

I'm sorry that's ridiculous. Tickets are hard enough to shift this season and no-one's been missing out on tickets. But for people with more than one ST locked in to the ACS, our "attendances" for midweek matches this season would be nearer 60,000 than 70,000.

Agreed, the ACS doesn't make any difference to whether ST holders are guaranteed aticket for Leeds. Even people opting out have first choice. It does, however, mean that if Kettering pull off a shock at Elland Road, season ticket holders will be forced to buy tickets to watch our reserves play some non-League team.

The "Coventry/Barca Clause" was one of the things the OFT told United to change after the MUST complaint last year.

Another of the things that MUST managed to get changed in their OFT complaint.

So you are saying that we cant be forced to buy a different ticket if our own seat is unavailable?
I bloody hope not anyway.

You are still forced to buy another seat (the OFT never looked at the legality of the ACS). However the seat must be (a) of the same or better quality, and (b) be no more expensive (and if it's a cheaper seat, be sold at the cheaper price).

Ok cheers for the clarification - that is still an arse.

Lets see what happens when the opposition and away allocation is confirmed.

I reckon whether it's Leeds or Kettering, they'll both take a full allocation - whole of East T2 and the normal away section.
