He'll sit, together with Torres, in his pocket

Whose pocket? Where does Torres come into this?

Looking forward to seeing Rossi back, anyway.

Am i the only one on here who thinks that Rossi was good but not good enough to make it a United

The outcry on here when he left last season was mental.

Really dont believe he was going to be United Quality

His lack of pace means he'll never be top drawer

Bergkamp, Sheringham, Shearer, Inzaghi, Toni, and others would care to disagree.

All bigger and/or better footballers than Rossi.

I'm not really impressed by his goalscoring to be honest. Most of his goals are penalties.

Never seemed to have 'it' for me, always appeared to knocked off the ball all too easily and much better suited to continental style football

I don't think he was ever going to be good enough to be a starter for us. He would have been a good squad player though. It was a shame he left, but Tevez is twice the player he was or is. If it was about getting first team football, and Tevez' signing meant he wasn't going to get it, then I'm happy with the decision. Having said that, I think he would have gotten enough games to keep him happy had he stayed.

No he's not. He has average pace, is a good finisher and a clever footballer but too small and too weak.
