MOTM by such a distance tonight it isn't even funny. That tackle in the second half when one of there players just walzed past everyone before Jonny came sliding in was inch perfect.

Was absolutely immense in the air. Played like he was 7 foot tall. Awesome performance.

A real Darren Fletcher story: promising youngster -> scapegoat as he inevitably dips -> key big match player.

Was solid at the back tonight. In a game where a lot of our players started to panic and look sloppy on the ball, he was a reassuring figure for us.

Good again tonight but again - at 1-0 up, I don't want to see a centre back making runs into the opposition box leaving just Ferdinand and Rafael behind him.

That header at the end was great. Vidic-esque.

A run of games has helped Jonny a lot, delighted for the lad. Playing next to Rio has also helped him a lot.

Man of the match for me. Pogrebnyak didn't have a leg to stand on when Evans was marking him. Constantly first on the ball and aggressive - reminded me of Vidic on more than one occasion when he threw himself in front of the attacker and headed the ball away.

We have to get started on Cleverley ASAP then.

His distribution from the back led to our better tempo in the good spell we had at the start of the second half.

Was amazing again. He is really starting to show his true ability. Little Jonny Evans is turning into a strong, very cleaver defender.

Well, I personally blame De Gea, Welbeck, Cleverley, Pogba and both twins for everything that has gone against us this season.

Sums up his season so far the way he won a towering header with the last touch of the game.

I think De Gea is rapidly heading for Stage 3 already (although one screw up will push him way down into Stage 2 again).

Don't forget Jones. What a waste of money he was. Useless player, doesn't even have a position. Also, his face looks funny.

Another good performance from Evans. Our most consistent player this season and best defender. IMO, our player of the season.

I'm loving this about him, I don't know if he's strengthened up, but I wouldn't expect him to get bullied by Carlton Cole again - ever since QPR away he's been top drawer in the air defensively

I missed the game tonight (had the stream on but was working so couldn't really watch it), but it's great to see the praise being heaped on Evans game after game in here. I actually think he could make a mistake now and not be lambasted for weeks about it.

He's somehow gotten stronger without bulking up. This throws into doubt the entire premise of youth player muppetry.

He's trying to be a goalscoring, attacking defender, a bit like Vida... and he's really good at it !

Think he lost one header all game. Absolutely immense from start to finish. It's getting back to the stage now where you don't think twice when his name is on the team sheet. Was super composed on the ball today, top distribution, rarely gave it away.

I just hate seeing him dive in 40 yards from goal and giving away freekicks.

Fulham's last attack was a throw in, everyone was in the box, anything could have happened if Fulham won the initial header. But, the game ended after Evans climbed over someone and cleared the ball...I thought that was an appropriate end to the game

Did well with that last header, and the tackle to stop Ruiz or Dembele from running into the box.

Nearly made a massive cock up when he let the ball ball fly over his head which Dempsey just missed.

Overall it was an easy night for him, as Fulham didn't really commit anyone forward - Don't remember De Gea making a save in the second half.

Don't get the player of the season comments, Valencia has been a lot better for one.

Am fine with it especially in a game like today when they have 11 men behind the ball and we need extra options. Don't think he ever really left us exposed today. Him carrying the ball forward when teams sit back trying to close off options to other players really helps.

It was wonderful to see the amount of headers he won last night. Great composure to set up Rooney for the goal. Most players would have tried to score themselves for sure.

According to whoscored he made 12 clearances (the 2nd most is Rio with 5)... I imagine most of those were with his head too, which is even more impressive when you consider he was largely up against Pogrebnyak and Dempsey, who are both tall and both very good in the air.

Truly excellent performances from the lad. Dare I say it was Vidic-esq...

I'm glad Fergie had faith in this lad when so many of you clearly didn't.

Being the one consistant player in a defence chopped and changed all the time - I was impressed with his start to the season, City-game aside. And the last four months his performances have been better and better, to the point of him becoming one of our key players this season.

That game last night was towering.

Rio is 32. If Jonny gets even close to the level Rio was at for the majority of his time at United, then I will be very very happy.
