The Kompany red card

Awful decision.

Kompany probably deserved a yellow more than a red but the point remains - why is a world class defender going in two footed?Crazy behaviour

He won the ball but he went in 2 footed. You can't jump in like he did and expect to get away with it.

massive loss for City in terms of Premiership. Could turn City's season all round that decision

I honestly wish he wasn't sent off, if we win the ABU brigade will put it down to that over anything.

It was slightly scissor-esque which probably persuaded Foy.

Will 2 of the games be in the CC? If so, not a huge loss unless they're desperate to win the CC.

Yellow at best.

I'd have not been happy had a United player was sent off for similar foul.

Harsh on reflection but probably looked a straight red from the ref's perspective. But yeah like RK...even though I'm enjoying it...I'd much rather beat them 11 vs 11.

Studs were up. City's best player out for 3 matches would be great news for us.

Would be nicer if we could beat these cnuts 11 Vs 11.

We are much more up for this anyway.

Ref was brave. He saw it as a red obviously, but he knew that a yellow would be a compromise and nobody would complain. He had the balls to follow through and send of Kompany in their own ground

Not a red. No question about it. But I cannot see it being overturned like with Milijas for Wolves.

If they do overturn it poor old Mick will go fucking crazy

I believe we had 10 men during the 6-1 win for them which is still brought up every 2 minutes by everyone else

isnt it a 4 game ban - second straight red??!

it was a red for me - very dangerous tackle

off the ground coming down, legs in scissor motion and studs up

had nani not hurdled the challenge, had competed for the ball and ended up getting completely taken out i'm sure a lot of you would feel differently

Yellow for me, but we've seen it given... Not to mention that it wasn't a skillful tackle, and it could easily have had a worse outcome.

A very harsh red, especially on a wet pitch. Yellow would have been alright.

Definite red card, two footed, can't do that. Defenders should realise that they can't slide in when they're head on to a striker.

If Nani, hadn't jumped he would have had a terrible injury. Can't go in 2 footed like that anymore. Fuck off City !

Harsh, but only because Nani hurdled it.

Go in with 2 feet off the ground and you cant really have any complaints.
