Lineups Game 11/12
Getting this started now, first competitive game vs. City on 7th of August


Rules liable to change as the mood takes me!!!
* Pick your starting XI for the game, and then name three subs (or less if you want).
* If you pick a number of subs less than three, and it turns out that that is exactly the right substitute/s we used, you will get three points (ie if you pick only Owen to come on, and only Owen does come on, you'll get three points).
* There are no points extra for guessing the right formation or position for each player.
* All teams will be multi quoted 2 hours from kick off by me or if I ask for help in the thread by whoever is around, these teams are final
* You get one point for each correct starter, and one point for each correct sub

* If someone you've said was going to start is a sub during the actual match, there are no points for this. Similarly, if someone you've nominated as a sub actually starts, no points.


If you get everything correct you get 14 points. Closing time will be two hours before kickoff.

For ease of reading your choices, please don't do lineups in formation like you'd see in the matchday thread. Please submit them in the format shown below

eg De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Anderson, Carrick, Valencia, Rooney, Hernandez SUBS: Young, Owen, Evans.

I don't really care how the layout is done, just have First XI on 1 line and "SUBS" clearly labelled.

If you miss a week your previous team will be used, this team is only carried over one week. So for the next week you need to enter a lineup.

I'll sort out alternative scoring for Community Shield considering more subs are allowed.

Is it 5 or 6 subs you can have in Community Shield game?

Depending on the answer top score will be 16/17. If you pick 2 subs and we only make 2 then it's full marks etc.
