Agreed. I like checked shirts as a rule and I love tartan, so I'm not completely against the idea, but what we've seen from Nike is too extreme and too ugly.

It's not the greatest concept for a United shirt by any means, but if they're going to do it, do it tastefully. As things stand, our new nickname is going to be The Tablecloths.

That's definitely the less horrible version. From the stands it should just look red, thankfully.

For those too lazy to click the link. I still think it looks awful.

It looks decent and once again I can't understand why people moan in January/February and then, when season starts, they like it.

It's a good one, I like it, we knew it won't be red with black, but with lighter red.

I quite like it, must be honest, the shorts and socks look considerably different too and I like change from time to time.

On another note, I think that Arsenal kit is horrible with the black on.

Doesn't look too bad tbh. Especially in this picture I quite like it. Arsenals and barcas look horrible

The sleeves on the Arsenal one are poor, the Barca one is quite nice though.

Hmm yeah I might have been too harsh on the barca kit.
Quite surprised about ours though. The first picture were ugly as fuck but now I really think they look decent

Kiko Macheda's just tweeted that he's seen the kit and it looks "nice", not that he's likely to say anything else though admittedly.

Those socks can't be right can they? We wear black socks at home and white away, never red, not since Busby changed them anyway.

My thoughts exactly, and he's just said this now too:
I've just seen someone post it on twitter! So I don't really have any pic!

That is the worst shirt I've ever seen! Even worse than the one with the black chevron recently. I mean who is designing these shirts? Nobody would like it so how does the design get approved?

Nike just release any old rubbish. The sooner we're back with Adidas the better as unlikely as that might be.

Don't like it at all.

It's supposed to be a football shirt, not a game of chess.

Red socks? I know we had them in the 60's/70's but United to me = Red Shirt, White Shorts and black socks.

I really like the shirt - although I hope we get black socks!

By the way, why are there two captain's amrbands on each sleeve of the Arsenal top?

If that's our kit for next season, then it's another season of not buying any of our kits for me.

To be back with Adidas means we're just another Liverpool or Bayern. I don't like what Adidas do and I can't imagine us in those shirts.

You lot think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence...

Thank God we didn't have the Caf in 90s...

We wore adidas kits long before Liverpool ever did. I'm not a big fan of them, but they can't do much worse than some of the recent Nike kits we've had. I'd not mind a change as it goes.

Besides - in the 90s most of our kits (with about 4 exceptions) were great.

Yeah, considering these were the 2nd leaked version, and don't match this new shot, I'm guessing this is a fake.
