Manucho out AGAIN !
Manucho is not being considered for the game tonight against Panionios due to him only arriving back in Greece on Friday morning. As you know, he was away in Japan playing for Angola and only trained yesterday morning. With only 3 games left after this one, I wonder if he will play again this season.
What a total waste of time, sending him here. All the Panathinaikos fans were really excited at the loan signing, firstly because he was a Man Utd player and then seeing his performances in the ANCup, they thought they had won the lottery. Now, they feel let down and only hope that they keep hold of him for another season, to see the real Manucho. |

Hopefully he will get out of there as soon as possible. They have wasted his time there and Manucho has not been given a fair chance. Whatever it takes, we need a work permit for him.

Is it Panathinaikos' fault that hes been injured most of the time he's been there or late to come back from international duty. I'm sorry mate but Panathinaikos are under no obligation to play him in every game just because we all want to see him do well before he comes to United.

Apparently he got hauled off after 70 minutes mid week because he looked tired. Albeit he set up a goal. |

Really??? Why don't you give some examples to back your claim?? Until then, shut up and give the guy an chance.
I'm sure next season if he does bang in 5/10+ off the bench, maybe in some big games, you'll be one of those doubters that acted like you supported him from the beginning. What belief some fans have! ![]() |

Not necessarily. There will be 4 WC Qualifying games for Angola in May/June. If he is picked in all four, he should reach the 75% threshold to qualify for a visa, although it's difficult to get exact appearance figures from Angolan matches, they aren't particularly popular in the English speaking press.
Best guess I've seen yet on the Caf is here: Manucho watch The friendly matches don't count, but if that poster was right about his appearances, this summer should put him over the top. And Angola are now in the top 70 (64th), so that's not a problem either unless they sink like a stone over the summer. |

Manucho in from the start!!!
I know this post has really died a death since Manucho has failed to get a game at Panathinaikos but with TWO games left, the impossible has happened>>>>>>>>Manucho STARTS against Aris at home. The KO is 5pm UK time, which is shit because we will all be watching game v Arsenal. Never mind, will tape first half and watch 2nd half live on local TV.
Will let you know how he gets on. |
