Respect to that guy.

He has a talent and passion.

It's amazing how he managed to build stands with such a precision.

That's excellent! And it gives us an idea of what the stadium would look like if they expand the south stand.

I haven't got suond at work - does he explain why he's done it with the South stand extended? To save having to do it again in a few years?

Aye, will cost more than £50m, though. Probably.

Yep. Which may not be a likely solution, but at least it gives an idea. Better than him going off on one with his own designs...

By the way, I only clicked where your username was from the other day when listening to Come on Pilgrim. Can't believe I hadn't spotted it before!

The roof's more like the one on the Strettie (and K stand).

I like the comments on youtube, btw:

"I have always wanted to make a matchstick model but have no idea where to start."

Er... by getting a whole load of matchsticks?

How do you mean? It has lots of close together cantilevers like the North, instead of just 3 large ones like the ends.

Do you mean the transparency? I reckon that's a pretty good call, with the sun being in the South 'n all...

Yep.

I think the new stand will have a sliding roof a la Wembley.

And when do you think that the stand be redeveloped?

I think it ought to too. Considering we have to integrate the railway and station 'n all, we might as well come up with something really flash, as it's the last piece of development needed!

From a football / demand point of view, I wouldn't be surprised if they were considering doing it in a couple of years.
But I'm not sure the current ecnomic climate, and the club's fragile position within it allow for that sort of capital investment at the moment.
