It's just occurred to me that Mockers might have thought I was making fun of his style, which was not what was happening.

Don't ever edit yourself more than you already do. Brilliant stuff as usual. But don't take my word for it...

PRAISE FOR MONONYM MATCH-REVIEWER MOCKNEY'S #1 NYT BESTSELLER "AND WHICH IS MORE..."

"MOCKNEY REVIL HAS DONE IT AGAIN...a real page turner...Peerless in the genre of Football suspense, Mockney knows what makes a football fan tick...and he keeps it ticking until those final fateful paragraphs that leave you breathless for more..."
- Kirkus Reviews

"Will no other sportswriter ever challenge for the title? This fellow reviewer for one is perfectly happy to 'Revil' in the pitch that the undisputed king of match reviews has laid down for us once again..."
- The Boston Globe

"Shameless plugs aside, who can blame the man when he dispenses with his inimitable gift for probing the intricacies of the beautiful game. You'll relish the journey, and when it's over, you'll pray for extra time..."
- Christian Science Monitor

"...A boundless human drama, leaving no aspect of our lives untouched, no heartstring left un-pulled, no emotion stripped bare to its pulsing core, and no dream left wanting for a heart to haunt..."
- Paris Hilton in her foreword to the Penguin Classics edition of "AND WHICH IS MORE..."

Dazzling...Mockney at his finest and most generous.
Ernest Hemingway

Okay, the last two aren't real.

....you tool.

Funny you should mention plugs (though not really) I was debating the use of selling plugs as a profitable business for hours last night. I concluded that if all the plugs in the world stopped working, the world would grind to a halt. We severely underrate plugs.

I enjoy your blogs but hungrywing is consistently the funniest poster on the Caf. You're getting beyond your league trying to take him on.

Nope, I'm gonna take an early retirement before the young upstarts start to show me up. ...Or I might just have a little sleep. Either way, I blame you entirely

How do plugs 'stop working'?

I've never heard of a broken plug.
