www.skyscanner.net for all your flight needs. Don't be afraid of booking a flight that sees you staying the night before somewhere outside Russia - will save you on hotels and beer costs!
As for Visas, apparently the Russians are planning something for independent travellers, if not there are reputable agencies out there that will do all the leg work (including invitation letters) for an all-in fee of about £90 and can turn things round in a week. Make sure you get stuff booked up before the scousers/cockneys though! Leave those fuckers with nothing under a grand! ![]() |

If you have a ticket and want to cancel it then you need to return it to United by the 6th May to get a refund, or alternatively you could give it to me at face value.
![]() MU Travel are to announce how many additional flights they're putting on sometime later today. You're still looking at £800 min per person for a flight ticket though. Best plan seems to be flying out to a European City a few days before the match and then fly onto Moscow either the night before or on the day of the game. |

Im 50/50. I have my ticket, but im not sure if i can pay £800 for a flight - espeically as i went to Barca last week - its a lot to shell out.
Plus, i dont really want to have to drive up to Manchester to get a club charter flight - i live in London now. |

Charters are going from Luton too, but £750 is a rip-off.
Now that my flights are booked, I'll share the details. Here's how I'm doing it for £350: MAN-Dusseldorf morning of 21st with Flybe DUS-Moscow afternoon of 21st with Aeroflot MOS-Hannover 22nd morning with Aeroflot HAN-Man 22nd evening with Tuifly |

Yeah - at the end of the day though, they ferry thousands of westerners around the place, and most seem to survive, so I'm happy to take my chances. |

I was speaking to an Irish Tour operator and he expects this one match to be the biggest movement of fans inside 24 hours.
A logistical nightmare. They (Twohigs) understand that most tour operators will be looking to ship the fans in and out inside 24 hours. Game is at 10pm Local time, First Flights out of Moscow could be away at 5am, no hotels needed |

a little tip, ive mentioned before in another thread
anyone getting they're own visa check the date on collection from the embassy. a few people i know who went over with Ireland got shafted as a little russian trick is to date the visa to run out before youre due to leave the country and then you get shafted for a few hundred quid at the airport when do you try to leave |

Just read that they're meant to have built a rail link from Sheremetyevo airport into town, but it's delayed and not finished yet.
Funny how they won't think about using Wembley until it's up and running for a few years, but they're happy to take the Russians word on some dodgy transport links... |

I am going to do everything I can to go but I won't go without a ticket. Which really means getting one arranged very soon indeed. I have put my feelers out to a number of usually reliable sources and crossed my fingers. I missed the last one due to poverty and my son just being born. I'd hate to miss this one if at all possible.
