Book first and get them cheaper I guess. Like they do on airlines normally.

Though, they should take the others off the website.

I wouldn't travel to my own funeral with them.

Meant to be confirming everything tomorrow. Should allegedly be an easy proces if you have a ticket. Which reminds me - anybody heard anything from the club about their tickets yet?
Well they have 14 working days to process what could be upto 80,000 visa's. Cant see how they are going to do it.

They were saying on 5 live last night that they dont process many more than that in a year.

Could be. Weird way of doing it though... and there are more expensive ones which have sold out first!

I just checked on a route planner, and it's 2025 miles from Manchester to Moscow by road. There's 21 days to go, so that's 96 miles a day.

My point being, if you're thinking of cycling there, it's probably time to set off.

Just been watching Sky News, you guys in UK are going to have a nightmare...!

You can sort via online but need two photos and your match ticket before applying plus the small matter of 98 Quid for the visa..! They said a lot will give up trying to get flights as they'd worked out it'll need 200 flights to ship 46,000 fans from UK, and suggested that many will set off a week early and drive..Pity they didn't work out the mileage beforehand..!!

I'm just sticking to blind faith that their much vaunted "anouncement" tomorrow will make everything straigth forward!
We don't even start getting given our tickets until 12th May, so they need to have a think about that for a start!

I was thinking what it will cost fans for having the final in Moscow. I think my trip will be £1100 - flights, visa, hotel, ticket (though I don't know the exact cost of the ticker is yet), drinks, food etc. I think that's also quite a conservative estimate. Some others will be paying loads more for flights and hotels so lets say £1500 on average.

£1500 x 21,000 official United ticket holders = £31.5 million

It will be the same for Chelsea/Liverpool so I would say that the 42,000 ticket holders will be paying £63mil.

If it were at Wembley, we would only need a train fair or a tank of petrol.

Whic reminds me... this from manutd.com:

Successful applicants have been debited a nominal fee of £1, with the outstanding ticket amount debited from 30 April (pending qualification).

Each individual will be required to collect their ticket from Ticketing & Membership Services with identification, collections will be available on specific dates relevant to your surname providing the travel report has been completed and this information will be announced shortly, we do however anticipate that collections will commence from Monday 12 May.

was on business - lived in a standard holiday inn, they charged 350 euros / night. Can only imagine what it will be like during the final..when you leave for moscow airport, be sure to do it early, as it is likely that it takes longer than your entire flight from England. The traffic is a mess.

I think that was an American study. Moscow is expesnive for Americans due to the deperciation of the dollar against the ruble. London is 2nd most expensive on that list.

Anyone know if the Ruble is strong or weak against the £ right now?

A charter through the club Baz? They don't let you fly unless you already have a ticket confirmed

That's a lot of dosh for flight and accommodation - especially without guarantee of a ticket. Try looking for flights to Moscow from other European cities.

Oh, and don't start your bitch fight in here.

No its not.

You are talking £600 at present for a direct flight, in fact you will not get one from Dublin while hotels are booked out with some at £250 a night available outside Moscow.

Its about spot on and saves the hassle.

Looking for a place to stay in Moscow but everything seems to be either full or expensive as hell.

Anyone know any cheap hostels or something?

In a ralphie88 study of cities he has been to, Moscow also came out on top. By a long long way.

No. I know 2 lads who won tickets by the lottery, and have asked them. I also have some tickets I can avail of through the club, buy that looks increasingly unlikely

Tokyo is the most expensive place i have been. But living in London and being a United fan, im used to paying through the nose.
