News just breaking....

Manchester United have today confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Everton for their Physiotherapist to join the Merseyside club on a two year deal subject to Louis Saha failing a medical.

Sir Alex Ferguson told the Sun that he was reluctant to let him go but with Saha gone there could be no place for him in the medical room and the physio could not be assured of any patients, so asked for a move alongside Saha.

Toffees manager David Moyes was clearly delighted with the deal. "he got a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable, and if we are to push for a fourth place finish in the table this season we need to make sure Louis gets the very best treatment available whilst he is injured for the next 35 games"

Moyes wasnt the only one celebrating. Liverpool General Hospital were clearly delighted at the move as the impending arrival of the french International meant they could shelve plans to close their accident and emergency department. With an assurance of at least one patient every week the hospital managers were delighted to announce the reversal of the decision to close the unit.

Saha arrived at United in a hail of publicity from Premiership rivals Fulham, arriving in a twelve million pound deal ( well Thirteen if you include the ambulance and wheelchair to get him to Old Trafford )... His career ( or lack of it ) at United has been one of missed chances, broken toenails and the very rare sight of him actually playing a game.

Fergie reluctantly agreed to release the striker, knowing United are woefully short on strikers, but given Saha was as reliable as an Austin Maxi with engine trouble, he felt he had no choice.

"hes been a tremendous patient.. I mean player for United. Hes worked hard and really put the effort in. We've had to replace three exercise bikes this year alone" the Old Trafford boss explained. " hopefully with the money that those mugs.. erm I mean Everton paid we are hoping to replace Louis at the earliest opportunity. The scouts are trawling the cemetaries as we speak to see if we can find someone with the same attributes as him"

Now Everton will have to build a new medical complex.
