Even though I am not a regular match-goer, there is something wrong about being forced to spend 35 quid in a match that doesn't really capture many people's imagination if you want to go to aways/finals. Thus if you are a sympathetic soul you would be eager for us to get an away game. Something like Wigan away would be good.

When you're balancing seeing your reserves win the least important major trophy available against being able to eat and drink and having any other kind of a life whatsoever, suddenly the idea of success in this competion pales. And there's still a major proportion of supporters signed up to the ACS this season, so they apply for aways. Which they'll probably never get anyway in my experience ![]() I work out given the cost of my season ticket last year, if United were drawn at home each round, if the tickets weren't discounted, I would have lost £152. To see reserves play. Even if the tickets are discounted, it'll be more than a tonne I desperately want an away draw on Saturday, even though I'm paying less this season |
