Next years team without Ronaldo?
Ok so im coming to a realization that we might actually be losing ronaldo this summer, prior to now i had been brushing it off as inevitable summer speculation, but it looks more than that now, the biggest factor being ronaldos silence which speaks louder than anything.
So if he does leave this summer, what are the consequences - who will replace him, if any? how do you think this will change the way we play and who will benefit from it in our current set up? Personally i think nani will feature way more and i think he will enjoy the responsiblity, and i think anderson may be given a shot on the left or as the main AM, just to experiment with his best position. Play wise i think we will be less reliant on the individual in question, our passing and general team game will improve and dare i say it become less predictable? A new signing will definalty be required, a big one too, bezema would be perfect or messi?? Its a sad thought but a very likely one now... Your thoughts... ![]() |

The thread is based on the prospect of ronaldo leaving us this summer (which looks quite likely from a neutrals perspective) and the consequences that it will have on our team.
Lets try to consider the positives that can come out this mess, so for arguments sake, say he does leave, because it is a strong possibility, then what for the team....? £70 million soo what to do with it.... benzema would be nice or another top draw striker. ----------back 5----------- -----carrick - scholes----- tevez - rooney - anderson ---------Benzema---------- leaving rooney and tevez to occupy their more natural positions, very well balanced. |
