Not necessarily. Ferguson might have meant he won't tolerate Foster slagging him off to more than one newspaper at a time.

Heres a comment underneath that article, jesus christ

Quote:
for me the we defo need to rebuild the team as there just a huge amount of average players & only a couple of worldclass players. for me i would sell;

kuszczak, oshea, nani, park, tosic, carrick & gibson! im an irish fan & if gibson cant start for us then hes not good enough for united. if whelan is ahead of you then that says it all! i would let scholes & neville retire as theyre done but would keep them at the club!

i would buy; goalkeeper, right back, attacking midfielder, left winger & a striker!

my picks would be(ive given 2 options for each position);

akinfeev or diego lopez
lahm or maicon
hamsik or modric
di maria or silva or krasic
dzeko or aguero

vds/akinfeev/amos (foster onloan til vds retires)
lahm/rafael/dalaet
rio/brown
vidic/evans
evra/fabio
valencia/obertan
fletcher/hargreaves
hamsik/anderson/giggs
di maria/welbeck/ljajic
rooney/berbatov
dzeko/owen (id loan out macheda & diouf until owens deal is up & then when they come back they can replace him)

I just don't really understand.

I mean, he can't really believe any of that. He can't really believe anyone else is going to believe it. And it doesn't even make any useful/factual points.

Why bother?

Its no secret Rooney's contract is due for renegotiation in the New Year. It is also no secret that top players are demanding over 150k a week at the moment.

Typical mishmash of gossip without any sources or context.

With the injuries and the lack of regular football is Fabio (or his wife) feeling homesick, he was last year. Is Vidic (or his wife) feeling restless, it was suggested he was last year - and it's always easy to make a couple of training ground mishaps sound like a pattern. So SAF's keeping his eyes open for talent, he always has done. Owen was always a plan B. You don't need to be a genius to know that Nani and Foster are under pressure. Lots of maybes, no information.

As for Pique, he's reckoned by most Spaniards to be one of the best centre backs in the world - but that still wouldn't have got him a guaranteed start at United last year.

Regardless of whether it's true. Kudos to SAF, wanker like Rafa dare not even drop Cara, but this man (SAF) shows he takes no shit attitude from anyone

Trouble with stories like this is that they are only as good as their sources. The redundancy threat for the medium-wage non-playing staff is an open secret and - possibly as a result - Old Trafford has become avery leaky place.

However, the chances that these sources are so close to training that the Vidic story (and the stuff about which players are under threat) is anything other than hearsay are very low. Although if not true, it will amount to defamation, so I would expect United/Vidic to take action.

First I've heard about the 'incident' at the Red Café though.
