IMO Park provides us with the passes needed to connect to an end product while Fletch was never a winger to begin with. I'm not agreeing to the point that he was as good as Fletch he came on and made the difference when Fletcher today looked like he lacked the concentration and commitment we've seen from the first two games.

His link up play with Rooney has always been excellent. Anybody remember Rooney's goal against Spurs and Park's against Arsenal a couple of seasons ago?

Yeah, I love how unselfish he is. He brings out the best in the players around him. He out Rooneys Rooney. He runs around so much and is so unselfish he forces Rooney to score goals.

what about rooney's vs west ham? park did a little cruyff turn on the edge of the box, slips it into rooney with a lovely reverse pass, and rooney calmly slips it past the keeper - one of my favourite goals of that particular season...
