To be fair some of those predictions seem to be tongue in cheek. I think he was trying to be funny. Which makes it even worse.

This United team's not a great one, but Ferguson's instilled the hunger, desire & commitment you need to win titles. They deserve to win.
Fair play to Moobs Morgan, he seems very disillusioned with Wenger as well.

My favourite bit: the fact he predicted Rooney to score more than he actually did.

Few of his tweets today. Along with calling for Wenger's head.

LIVERPOOL will have a very good season under Roy Hodgson.

Judging by what he did with Fulham's fairly average squad, imagine what he's going to do with the likes of Gerrard and Torres.

ARSENE WENGER will end his trophy drought....

Does this simpleton think instilling a winning mentality is all about giving good team talks or something? No, Piers, creating a winning culture takes years of dedicated work and it all begins with bringing in players and staff with the right desire and temperament as well as ability. Stick to what you do best, mate; sinking the CNN flagship.

He's an honest guy who's willing to speak his mind and he's also someone who isn't afraid to admit when he's wrong. The only thing unlikeable about him is his arrogance, but given his achievements as a journalist, I don't blame him one bit.

Absolute cockend!!!

Having read the shit that he spouted weekly in the Daily Mail and getting used to his absolute hatred for United and anything associated to the club, todays victory is all the more sweeter, just to prove the penises like him wrong.

Fat, cockney, journalistic cum stain

Even if we ignore his anti-utd columns, his role in that fake iraq photos controversy was disgusting. He is seriously a horrible man, no surprise that you're defending him though.

His role? And what was that, then? Were you privy to the events that led up to the publication of the photos? He made a serious, but honest, editorial error after being hoaxed, and as a result he left his post. He wouldn't have printed the photos if he knew they were fakes.

If you want to talk about Iraq, Morgan's long term stance against the war, despite the party allegiance of his paper and of him personally, is something to be admired.

He didn't left his post rather he was sacked, big difference!

and also it's his job to verify things of that magnitude before printing them to the national media, he was 100% to blame for it and that's why he was correctly sacked.

Of course he was to blame. He was editor of the paper, and ultimately he had to take full responsibility. So he made an error of judgement, what is your point? It doesn't make him 'disgusting', or a cunt, or whatever other insult you want to hurl at him. Do you not make mistakes? Forgive me, I didn't realise I was talking to somebody of infallibility. I think you're just looking for an excuse to hate him, when really, you just disagree with his opinions.

And I'm not going to argue with you on whether he was sacked or whether he resigned. I mean, really. Let's just settle on the term mutual consent.

He is so incredibly biased to his beloved Arsenal.... His Tweets are constantly anti-United and I bet his latest tweets today will be 'Oh well Messi and Co will rip you to shreds'

As far as you're concerned, every time I disagree with someone or something, I am on a wind up. It's getting a boring, I have to say. I didn't start this 'argument', I expressed my opinion on Piers Morgan....in a thread about Piers Morgan. Seriously, get over your fixation with me. It's weird.
