Apparently the bellend was the Fox expert Football pundit on today's game. I so want to hear his expert views when we were 3 0 down!

He picked United to win 2-0 before the game because as he said "it pains me to say this but they have the best manager in the history of British football".

At the half he mentioned the hair dryer treatment but we never got to hear his thoughts when it was 3-0.

Why is he anywhere near a football show let alone being called an "expert". There are a million retired players out there that have media experience that could actually offer an "expert" opinion.

Because he has an English accent and tv people in America think he must know football. Granted, the English allow him to write articles about football in the newspaper so seems like we both lost the plot.

Most ex-footballers are as thick as shit. Unlike the 'experts' we see on MoTD and Sky Sports, Piers can at least string a few sentences together without having to resort to alternating between stating the obvious and using tired old cliches.

The current state of football punditry in the UK is worse than abysmal, I wouldn't mind giving Piers a try.

I'd rather hear a thick as shit pundit than let some cockend who's biggest experience of football is acting the WUM on twitter.

Totally agree that the standard of football punditry is pretty dire right now but if Piers is getting a go then fuck it I want in, I play football and can string a few words together.

He did make one or two decent point about the booing Rio got... given their banter, it showed a small bit of class

He should still go to jail (along with many other Murdochians) for anything to do with the phone hacking scandal.

I can't believe he still works in the media after the share tipping scandal.

I hate that he is representing us out there. Odious prick. Football won't get any more popular out there while he's spouting his shite.
