Evra would be my choice as well.
But both Nani and Hargreaves should be ahead of Scholes. People are blinded by the fact that he is in fact the legendary Paul Scholes. I`m not saying he`s been poor, but Hargreaves and Nani have been better. |

Evra deserves the title of the top dog for the month of August. There have been a couple of games this season in which he has been the only player who looks likely to get us a goal from his position at left back. Top player, he has been sound defensively and exciting going forward.
Scholes has only had one good game in my personal opinion, that was against Pompey. Hargreaves had his against Citeh, Nani has impressed in periods but hasn't really fully imposed himself on any one game. Giggsy's form has worried me, I sincerely hope it is only down to him being played upfront BUT he hasn't sparkled, hopefully that will be put to bed this Saturday. |

I agree with you that he is not on top form, but he surely doesnt give the ball away at every opportunity, and i actually do think, that it is mainly because he is played out of position and because he has to play upfront alongside with the new boy, Tevez. It's surely not easy for him, considering that he has always played as a winger. |

For the month, each Man of the Match gets 3 points - then 2 and 1 again. That's how that the Player of the Month is decided. The other tally is the number of votes cast for the entire month. There is another one at the end of season as well. |

The order above is spot on. Not Wes' fault, to be fair, he has been playing out of position. And it shows. |

He mainly loses out because he's not very good at football.

What he is not, however, is a top-class full-back. |

To my eyes Brown has nearly the best attitude of all players from ManU. For him it's not a problem not to be started regularily in the first XI, but he fights for his place. Of course he isn't the best crosser or technically-gifted player but he is a great fighter and tackler. |

yeah, brown just clatters the likes of Robben into the advertising boards, gets up and gets back into position ready to do it again. Ferdinands got a big mough and no Bollocks.
