I'd like to see what Campbell could do in the 1st team. I think Evans will stay a big longer at sunderland though

I'm being serious - have we ever had someone of the quality of this kid?

I've been wathcing City for more than 25 years and I'd say he's definitely the best I have witnessed in a City shirt. No doubt some of the old guard would tip the wink to Waggy or Chillo but does hindsight blinker the views? I doubt very much they had the calibre to represent England at full international level yet if Frazier doesnt I'll eat my trilby.

No matter what happens on Sunday as we draw to end of a magnificent regular season I hope to hear the chant of 'One Frazier Campbell' ringing the ground as he makes what could possibly be his last ever appearance for us. He surely deserves it.

Evans had one helluva game against Arsenal according to various reports. Got a 9/10 on skysports.com.

He had a good first half. In the second he had 5(!) big chances to score, but his finishing wasn't up to it's usual standard. If he puts on a bit of muscle and becomes more stabile in front of goal he'll be a top class striker.

We took the lead when Campbell forced Shittu into a mistake, slid the ball across the box and Barmby shot home.

Windass had a decent chance to score a second but hesitated on the ball but the second goal came soon after, Deano nodding in after a Campbell effort deflected onto the bar.

As the half went on, Campbell looked more and more dangerous. Ash just failed to release him twice, once on a tight looking offside decision, and Shittu looked unable to get anywhere near young Fraizer.

Campbell would have scored a hat trick on another day. He was as tricky as he always is. He gave them the run around. He's bright, he's quick, his acceleration defies belief and he's getting stronger and cleverer with every game. He makes and scores goals. What an asset. I hope he never leaves.

I hope to God that he's sent back on loan to Hull again next season. His development will definately stutter here (even though we'll have 7 subs next season, I can only see him having the pique role as we'll have around 5 top strikers). He needs to be playing week in week out at the stage where is development is at its fastest.

is he up to prem standard? maybe it would be good for him to stay with hull if they get promoted. same as the foster set up really.

If Hull don't win promotion they've got no chance at keeping him. He'll play premiership football next season. Either as part of our striker quartet or at a lower/midtable team on loan.

saw a bit of the game the last day and he looked dangerous. Seemed a little slow in getting his shot in sometimes, just taking that 1 extra touch or that extra few seconds to shoot. Would need to improve that, as that would kill him in PL

Campbell played well in the second game of the play-off semifinal tonight. Great workrate and aggression and good link-up play. Created chances for others and once came close to scoring himself. Getting stronger all the time.

Campbell strength is really good,something like jason roberts.Maybe he could have tried to be more mobile against crystal palace,took a few touches in the penalty box as u need to be faster or clinical in the box.But i think a few gaols were scored because crystal palace player couldnt contain him during these situations and thus campbell teamates pounced.We can also call that a kind of assists.haha...Anyway given time he would come good.Everybody is talking about welbeck but campbell might just break in first.

1. I guess you mean Watford.
2. He played off the shoulder of the Watford defenders last night. It worked out well in that Watford needed 3 men (with the full back drifting in) to contain him, and it didn't work out well in that his team mates' passing was pretty poor for a change. But he ran his socks off and was - as always - very, very mobile.
3. Yes, in the game at Vicarage Road he took a needless extra touch on one or two occasions.
4. 3 of the 4 goals Hull scored with Fraizer on the pitch during the semi finals came as a direct result of Watford being scared shitless of him, thus leaving space for others (Barmby*2, Folan). If you youtube Hull's first goal from last night you'll see both Watford CBs trying to kill Fraizer as Barmby gets there first. It'll give you a good laugh.

My bad,i meant watford.Actually what i meant by campbell being mobile was to move around more to link the midfield to the strikeforce.I believe he played as a lone striker and tactics might have played a part for him to be in that position.As you see hes got pace to burn so it would have been better if tried an agbalnghor(wrong spelling i guess) position.I watched the game and as you say the watford defenders were scared shit and almost all game tried to contain campbell during goal opportunities thus creating chances for folan and barmby.

But on occasion they've played 4-3-3 with Campbell/Folan/Fagan up front, taking turns going wide. I haven't seen to much of that myself, but from what I've read, Fraizer has looked very dangerous cutting in from either side with his pace, skill and ability to finish with either foot.

I believe Hull should play 4-3-3 then in the final.Service to him was horrible against Watford.Guess they were trying to protect their 2 goal lead.But Hull also had the luxury to hit Watford on the counter as they knew Watford would come lookin for the 2 goal after they scored 1.They wont have that luxury in the final.I dont believe campbell would recieve proper service so he might as well cut in from the wings.And windass looks like a thug,and he must have loved touching the refs semi-bald head
