It was a horrible challenge. Absolutely no need for Pogatetz to go in like that, and no need to follow threw with his right leg.
Gutted for Possebon, made me sick watching him with the oxygen, just like Smith. Hope they put the cast on for precausion. But I reckon you don`t get in that sort of pain cause of a cut leg. Possebon looked shocked. |

2213: I've just seen some still pictures of the Rodrigo Possebon injury. It looks worse from every different angle and every time you see it. What a pity for the 19-year-old.

The intent was so clearly there. You just don`t go in like that. He sort of caught the ball with his left leg, then he lifts his right and follows through. He must get suspended for that. Didn`t see him check with Possebon either, which of course would be the decent thing to do.

Just seen SAF on MUTV giving post-match interview. He said he's watched the replay and doesn't want to watch it again, that's how bad the injury is. I would say that Possebon has definitely broken his leg. Only a matter of exactly how bad/complicated the fracture is. Fuck's sake.

He had a very impressive game against Middlesbrough. I hope the injury to him is not too serious. That was such a dirty tackle against him. Get well soon. He will be here for a long time, I forsee it.

Definately sad more than angry. The kid looked like being one of our biggest stars for the future generation. Worst thing is, he isnt even remotely dirty, so there really is no excuse for what that fucking wannabe Kraut did....

Just to provide a bit of perspective (and I'm as fecked off as anyone here) bones do heal and young lads heal quicker than most. Cold comfort, I know but these things happen.
