It was a horrible challenge. Absolutely no need for Pogatetz to go in like that, and no need to follow threw with his right leg.

Gutted for Possebon, made me sick watching him with the oxygen, just like Smith. Hope they put the cast on for precausion. But I reckon you don`t get in that sort of pain cause of a cut leg. Possebon looked shocked.

Fucking gutted

A silky operator in the middle, who sure can pick out a pass or two. Hope he recovers quickly, cause he is a real prospect.

Hope it's not too serious. Really feel sorry for the lad. Looked good for an 18 year old and certainly has potential, very elegant player

The sad thing now is, hardly ever to players come back and play at their best, nor fulfill any potential.

pity

Ruined the whole match for me. It seemed like a very serious injury and I hope that cuntstain Pogatetz is banned for a long time. It's not like anybody's gonna miss the mediocre psycho.

2213: I've just seen some still pictures of the Rodrigo Possebon injury. It looks worse from every different angle and every time you see it. What a pity for the 19-year-old.

The intent was so clearly there. You just don`t go in like that. He sort of caught the ball with his left leg, then he lifts his right and follows through. He must get suspended for that. Didn`t see him check with Possebon either, which of course would be the decent thing to do.

Full credit to Anderson for staying with the lad whereas some players hate seeing that sort of thing, he's a big character our Anderson.

Just seen SAF on MUTV giving post-match interview. He said he's watched the replay and doesn't want to watch it again, that's how bad the injury is. I would say that Possebon has definitely broken his leg. Only a matter of exactly how bad/complicated the fracture is. Fuck's sake.

Looking on the bright side, atleast it wasnt a tearing of a Knee ligament - They can be worse than a broken leg!

Any further updates from the gaffer mate?

It didn't look nice on the replays I seen either and that was from a laggy live stream, can only wish him the best.

He's had that happen to him before, hasn't he? Might explain it. Wish Possebon all the best, however bad this injury is.

He had a very impressive game against Middlesbrough. I hope the injury to him is not too serious. That was such a dirty tackle against him. Get well soon. He will be here for a long time, I forsee it.

Definately sad more than angry. The kid looked like being one of our biggest stars for the future generation. Worst thing is, he isnt even remotely dirty, so there really is no excuse for what that fucking wannabe Kraut did....

Pogatetz has plenty of previous for this kind of thing. He's just another talentless thug plying his trade in the Premiership, Middlesbrough should be ashamed of having a player like him.

Just to provide a bit of perspective (and I'm as fecked off as anyone here) bones do heal and young lads heal quicker than most. Cold comfort, I know but these things happen.

A leg will heal, there is no problem with that. As you say, a knee injury is much worse.
