Rio fit in three games time. Evans back then. Rafael might be back soon. Anderson back.

But... where the fuck is Fletcher?

Would be a massive boost to get Rio back for the Fulham game going into the Chelsea 2nd leg.

Wtf

If it's serious Ando's imminent return is good timing but we really need Carrick to step up now with the influx of games ahead

Thought it was funny when he said Chelsea, Arsenal, Ourselves and Spurs could still win the title.

Is there a chance for the mid-week chelsea game, might be pushing it a bit though.

I guess Park can cover at FB if fabio cant last 90 minutes, or Valencia at RB.
Not ideal, but might just get through a game or two like that

I said it in the matchday thread, maybe Fergie expects to have at least one of Rafael, Brown or O'Shea back for the Chelsea game.

Brown and Oshea will start training on Monday, so thats unlikely
Evans will be back for the CL match.

Fergie called the Hargo shoulder thing 'a huge setback'. I really feel for him.
Finally gets over the knee troubles, tears his hammy, makes a comeback and injures his fucking shoulder. How unlucky can a man get

Darren Fletcher is still out with a virus which is a "bad one" but he's getting better and the manager expects him to be in next week
Be in next week? So training im guessing which isnt bad. Unless he means in to be checked out but could still be a fwe weeks away. Got the above from the united website btw.

Rio started training on Wednesday but won't be back for tomorrow. It's more likely he'll return against Fulham. Rafael started training yesterday but is out of the West Ham clash along with fellow right-back candidates Wes Brown and John O'Shea. Anderson, Park Ji-sung and Nemanja Vidic are all travelling and there were no new injuries from the internationals.

My point stands then, Rafael will probably be back for Wednesday.

Forward planning, Fergie's good at it.

Have they really got one? Obinna plays wide forward and Gary O'Neil is a winger, but right footed I think. Luis Boa Morte is there, but usually takes his place on the bench if he isn't injured (which he isn't at the moment).

I suspect Obinna would play in that area with a midfield three of Parker (if fit), Noble and Hitzlsperger.

On the contrary, the injuries actually came just before the international break which is as good a time as you can get them. If they'd just been suffered now we'd be fucked for the next few weeks, as it is we're expecting people back over the next week or so, which is good.

This. Have to be optomistic about something.

Instead of worrying about who'll be playing left wing for West Ham, we should probably let them do a little bit of worrying about our front four.

He came on and played there against Marseille and I don't remember him doing anything wrong. I'm comfortable enough with him playing there, especially with Tonio in front of him.

Delighted Vidic is back, Rio back not too far away as well, great.

Loads of players coming back from injury in the next few games, the international break has done us well.

Personally I think Fabio at RB will be interesting. I hope that's a good interesting...

Obinna played there during the CC debacle but they might go with a 4-3-3 with Parker,Noble,Parker,Hitzl.. and Ba,Obinna,Cole up front...if Piqiounne's fit then they may go with 3 forwards.
Bridge will support on the left

Since when has Fergie told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in Press Conferences when it comes to player availability?

I wouldn't be totally surprised if someone makes a "miraculous recovery" in time for tomorrow.

The defensive situation looks completely shagged if it's all true though.

I would pay no heed to anything Fergies says about injuries and availability form here in, he's going to have to do some juggling between now and the end of the season and needs all he can muster in his favour. We can expect one or two more arsenal in the cup style selections I'd say. Guessing our team will be impossible for the oppo after that arsenal game and all the injuries.
